It's Fall on the Nautical Mile. Some folks think there is nothing to do on the Mile once Summer disappears. WRONG!!!! The crowds are gone. It's quiet and relaxed. The weather is still beautiful. The sun is shining. Some restaurants stay open. Jeremys, and BrewSA is open. The Seahorse Gift Shop is open. And most importantly, Sparkle on Stage Cultural Arts Center is open and full of activities for kids, adults, families, and seniors! We are open 12 months a year and are planning many programs and events.
Some upcoming events include Movies, Concerts, Magic Shows, and Storytime for the kids, just to name a few. But most importantly, I am excited to launch our inaugural Winterfest! A month of weekend events starting Thanksgiving weekend. Our schedule will be out very soon. Keep an eye out.
We are also thrilled to be partnering with PIPs Ice Cream and serving their amazing Hershey Ice Cream. Right now we have seasonal flavors like Pumpkin and Apple Pie, as well as other traditional favorites. YUM! Come and have a scoop while you create a pretty jewel box, paint a frame, or design a trinket box. We are open most afternoons for craft activities.
Sparkle on Stage Cultural Arts Center is also available to performers, storytellers, comics, and other artists as a rental space. We offer affordable pricing so that local talent can perform in front of an audience. In fact, we just had Dueling Pianos and they were awesome. We look forward to hosting their next event.
I hope that you will come and see what Sparkle on Stage Cultural Art Center has to offer. We are located right in the middle of the Nautical Mile in Freeport NY.
